Welcome to District 317B
Our Lions’ District 317B comprise of the entire state of GOA and 10 revenue districts of the state of Karnataka viz Belagavi, Dharwad, Uttar Kannada, Haveri, Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Koppal, Gadag, Bellary & Parts of Raichur, doing excellent service activities for the needy and downtrodden. In our District 317B, we have 112 Lions clubs and nearly 3600 member volunteers who are willing and anxious to give their time, energy and resources in service to others. The slogan adopted by the District for the Lionistic year 2025-26 is “EMPOWER THE PRIDE”.
LIONS INTERNATIONAL is the world’s largest service organization having its presence in over 200 countries and geographical areas of the world. The year 2025 marks the 109th year of this Association which was began on 7th June, 1917 at Chicago, USA by Lion Melvin Jones, an insurance agent by profession. The dedicated community service put in by the Lions from around 49000 clubs world over and having around 14 lakh enthusiastic service-minded members committed for serving their community needs. The motto of our association is “WE SERVE” while the international slogan adopted for the year 2025-26 is “Lead to Serve… Serve to Lead”.

Service Journey
Campaign 100 was a three- year effort by Lions Clubs International to raise $300 million with the goal of empowering the service of Lions around the world . At the end of three years of the campaign, we keep the your momentum going by encouraging everyone to give what they can and educate them Toghether, we bring long-term change and lasting hope to the communities that need us most.
