As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Celebration of National youth day
Lions club Gangavathi in association with Lions PU college , Celebrated National Youth day and Sri Swamy Vivekananda's jayanthi at Lions PU college. Ln.Dr.Jambunath Gouda ,President Ln.Shivakumar Malipatil ,Ln.Shivappa Gali ,Administrator Chandregouda were participated the event.

Reliving the hunger
Yesterday on 11-01-2026 We the Lions Club Mahalingapur Green Basin has conducted events Under the banner of Weeks of Service with Hunger being the focus, groceries of 50 Kits worth Rs.2000/- were donated to an underprivileged 50 family in Nandagoan, Akkimaradi and Dhavaleswar Villages.

New Year Dhamaka
21 members of our club attended and participated in New Year Dhamaka held at Island View, Uthorda. The arrangements and entertainment were arranged excellently by DG team. This celebration will linger in our members minds for a long long time.

Zone Advisory Meeting
Our beloved Zone Chairperson Lion Malhari Divate called the Zone Advisory meeting. It was well attended by 7 members. The ZC insisted for +ve membership growth of all clubs.

Hunger Activity
Celebrating the World wide week for Hunger , Lions Club of Curchorem Sanvordem under the leadership of Club President Lion Sameer Naik generously donated total 40 Bags ( 5 kg Each ) of Panchamrutha Delux Sona Masuri Rice to students of Govt. High School Bepquegal Curchorem Goa. On the ocassion School Incharge Teacher and our club Treasure Lion Ashwin Dsouza, Club secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai and Club BOD member Lion Vipul Sirsat were present.

Visit to Nandagokula, Amulya(p) Specialized Adaptation Agency
The Lions Club of Gadag Betgeri organized a meaningful visit to Nandagokula – Amulya(P) Specialized Adaptation Agency, a home caring for children in need. The visit was aimed at spreading joy, care and support among the children and staff of the institution. During the visit, Lions members interacted warmly with the children and learned about their daily activities and needs. As a part of the service, the club donated fruits and Lactogen to support the nutrition and health of the children. The staff of Nandagokula appreciated the thoughtful gesture and expressed gratitude to the Lions Club for their kindness and concern. The visit created smiles and strengthened the spirit of service among all members. The activity was completed successfully, reflecting the Lions Club’s commitment to serving humanity with compassion.

Visit to women & children welfare office
During the visit, the Lions members distributed fruits and dresses to women and children to support their well-being and daily needs. The beneficiaries received the items with happiness and gratitude, and the interaction created a warm and caring atmosphere.
