ATTENDANCE AT Lions Club Sirsi – Green City Initiative
As Zone Chairperson, I had the privilege to attend the sapling plantation programme organised by Lions Club Sirsi. In its continued effort to keep the city clean and green, the club undertook a remarkable initiative of planting decorative saplings along the road dividers, covering a stretch of nearly 2 kilometres. A total of 2,000 saplings have been planted with dedication and vision to beautify the city while also contributing to a healthier environment. The club has also taken responsibility for the regular watering and maintenance of these saplings, ensuring their healthy growth and long-term impact. This initiative truly reflects the commitment of Lions Club Sirsi towards environmental conservation and community service, setting an inspiring example for all.
