As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Doctors Day Celebration on 01/07/2025
Lions Club of Hubli City proudly celebrated Doctors’ Day on 1st July 2025 at Koliwad Granites, Hubli, by honoring five renowned doctors from Hubli for their exceptional service and dedication to the medical field. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 30 Lion members and 10 non-Lion guests, who joined us in expressing gratitude and appreciation to the medical fraternity for their invaluable contribution to society.

*Donation of 50" LED Smart TV_
On 28-07-2025 at 12 noon, a latest 50" LED Smart TV along with syllabus based contets in Kannada for various subject softwares to students of 6th and 7th Grade were given by Lions Club Honavar in association with Rotary Club of Bengaluru Lakeside and Children's Love Castles Trust to Higher Primary School Honavar. 90 students and staff with 15 Lion members participated in the Programme. Lions Secretary MJF Lion Dr A V Shanbhag talked about the importance of Smart TV for curricular studies. Total expenses: Rs 1,75,000/-

Environmental Activity *_
Vanamahotsava was celebrated in R.E.S.Composite Junior College Haldŕdipur, Honavar on 28-07-2025 from 4 to 5.30 pm. PST, RC, Environment Committee Chairman attended the programme and talked about the needs and benefits of planting the trees. 80 students and staff with 9 Lion members were present. 50 saplings were distributed to students for planting in school and their residences. It is intimated to all that Lions Club is going to give the certificates and prizes for the best maintenance of plants. Total expenses: Rs. 2500/-.

On 28-07-2025 from 10 am to 11.45 am Vanamahotsava was celebrated in Higher Primary School, Prabhat Nagar Honavar. 45 saplings were distributed to students and to encourage the students, it is announced that after 8-10 months a survey will be done by our Club and for best maintenance of plants, special prizes will be given to students. 90 students and staff with 14 Lion members attended the programme. Total expenses: Rs.2,000/-
