As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

MEDICAL KIT Donation
Lions Club of Sindhanur has donated 2 First Aid Boxes to the nature conservation groups Vanasiri Foundation and Akhanda Bhoomi Foundation. This thoughtful contribution was made possible with the active support of Lion Ganesh, in recognition of their ongoing efforts in protecting the environment. Together, let us serve and safeguard both people and nature.

Donation Of 10 Trimmers to the Social Organisations
To support the efforts of Vanasiri Foundation and Akhanda Bhoomi Foundation, we have donated tree trimming cutters. Due to the irregular and uncontrolled growth of plants and trees, daily commuting vehicles—especially school buses—were facing frequent difficulties. To ensure smoother and safer passage, we contributed trimming instruments to help the Nature Lovers maintain greenery while ensuring public safety.

48th INSTALLATION CERMONY
The newly elected team was installed by Installation Officer – VDG1 PMJF Lion Rajshekar Hirematt, who inspired the gathering with his motivating address. New Members were warmly inducted by Lion Gavisiddappa Mudagal, who welcomed them into the global Lions movement of service. The event was graced by Chief Guests: Sri Sriharsha Sri Basanna Gouda Badarli (MLC) Their presence added honour and encouragement to the occasion. The evening was a memorable one, filled with camaraderie, commitment to service, and new beginnings!
