As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Golden Jubilee Year Installation Ceremony of the Office bearers for the year 2025-26:
Golden Jubilee Year Installation Ceremony of the Office bearers for the year 2025-26 was held on 25-06-2025 at 6 pm in Lions Vidyabhavan, Prabhat Nagar Honavar. Installation Officer was PMJF Lion N Mohan Kumar, Bengaluru, MCC(Elect) of Multiple District 317. The Chief Guest was MJF Lion Ashok Kumar K. from Bengaluru. 51 Lion members from Host Lions Club, 29 members from neighboring Lions Clubs of Kumta, Gokarn, Ankola, Sirsi, Murdeshwar and Rotary Club along with 115 invited guests attended the ceremony. The function was held for 3 hrs duration. Installation Officer, Chief Guest and outgoing PST were honored by offering shawls, garlands, peta, flower Buckeye, fruits and mementos. The function ended with a grand dinner.

Vision Screening camp for students
Vision Screening camp was organized in Infant Jesus High School for pre-primary & Primary students of Infant Jesus High School - Colva 77 students from pre-primary students were screened out of which 17 needs further investigation. 169 students of primary section are also screened out of which 46 needs proper eye check up. All these students will be further checked during our annual camp.

Lions club of sankhali inducted 7 new members on 9th July 2025 during the club installation function. District cabinet secretary PMJF Lion Dr kirti Naik was the induction officer. 38th Installation of Board of Directors
38th of installation of Board of Directors under the leadership of Lion Jyotsna Pokle on 9th July 2025 at Jawahar Desai Hall, Sankhali Goa by District Governor PMJF Lion Jaiamol Naik as installation officer. Chief Guest for the function was MJF Lion Dr Pramod Sawant Chief Minister of Goa.

The First activity of the Lions Club Gokak was initiated with ANNADASOHA program.150 food packets were distributed among the Indoor Patients of Government Hospital Gokak during 1.30 pm to 3pm on 15.07.2025.The activity was sponsored by MJF Lion Adv.G S Siddapurmath in the sweet memory of Late Shri Chandrakant G Badadapure of Solapur.President Lion Shrishail Hanji,CMO of Govt,Hospital and other doctors,many Lion members participated in the activity.

The Installation of Office Bearers of Lions Club Gokak was carried out on 13.07.2025 from 7pm to 10pm.PDG PMJF Lion Suggala Yelamali was Installing Officer.Lion Shrishail Hanji,Lion H B Patil,Lion Ashok Dayannavar took the new charge as President,Secretsry and Treasurer respectively.MJF Lion Bharati Vadavi RC and MJF Lion Satish Patil,GLT member Dist 317 witnessed the function as Guest of Honor.
