As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Organised International Women's day program on 7th march 2026
International Women’s Day was celebrated by Lions District 317B New Voices Co-ordinators in collaboration with the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) on 7th March 2026 at the Conference Hall, Collectorate Office, South Goa, under the leadership of MJF Lion Swati Surlakar. The programme was graced by District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik as the Chief Guest, Smt. Deepali Dilip Naik, Project Director DRDA as the Guest of Honour, and PMJF Lion Dr. Kirti Naik as the Keynote Speaker. On this occasion, Eight distinguished women were felicitated for their remarkable contributions to society. Smt. Deepali Dilip Naik and PMJF Lion Dr. Kirti Naik were also honoured for their outstanding service in their respective fields. The programme concluded on a joyful note with spot prizes, games, and lively dance performances by the Swamini Self Help Group, Navelim, making the celebration vibrant and memorable. MJF Lion Adrian Torres and MJF Lion Sameer Surlakar gave their wholehearted support, guidance, and encouragement in making this event a memorable and successful one. DONATED PLAY MATERIALS AND SHOE STANDS TO GOVT SCHOOL.
LC MURUDESHWAR PARTICAPATED IN THE ANNUAL GATHERING OF THE GOVERNMENT LOWER PRAMARY SCHOOL MUDSHIRAL. ON THE OCCASION, THE CLUB DONATED PLAY MATERIALS AND A SHOE STAND TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ITS STUDENTS. THE CONTRIBUTION WILL HELP IMPROVE THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND PROVIDE BETTER FACILITIES FOT THE CHILDREN.
