As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Republic day Celebaration.
Republic day on 26th January 2026. Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona celebrate 77th Republic Day at Lions Club House Xeller Canacona Goa, on 26th January 2026 at sharp 8:30 am. 15 Lions Members and 10 Leo members were present for the Republic Day functioned. Senior Lion Gopinath Desai hoisted the National flag with National anthem. Lions Club members spend Rs.5000/- and 2 hrs.

Distribution of Sports kit
On 22nd January , Lions Club Ankola City donated playing kits worth Rs. 5000/- to an Anganwadi at Belekeri. I was invited as the Guest of Honour.

LCLLIat LC Gokarn
On 26th January 2026, CLLI was conducted under my leadership. MJF Lion S. T. Kairanna took one sessions: one on how to conduct Regular and BOD meeting, and RH Nayak took anothe session and explained on how to conduct Zone meeting. It was very, very useful and full of information. 20 Lions were present.

Distribution of Cycle
On 24th January 2026, I participated in the programme organised by L.C. Ankola City in which they presented two ceiling fans to a primary school at Belekeri. It was a very useful programme.

Kite Flying Activity
On 24th January 2026, I attended a kite flying programme organised jointly by Lions Club of Gokarna and Lions Club Ankola City on the Belekeri Beach. More than 130 students of different schools participated. 12 Lions were present. It was a unique programme.

Reliving the Hunger at Allinki Honavar
. On 11th of January 2026 a Mega hunger programme was arranged by L.C. Honavar in a remote village called Alanki. The programme was in the Ambalkay Bhravan Alanki. 150 poor people were served with good food. 08 Lions also participated in the programme. It was well appreciated by the public.
