As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Mission Vision - Eye Checkup at Candolim Eye Clinic
Under our Mission Vision, the weekly Eye Checkup Camp was held on 28th July 2025. 26 patients were screened out of which 3 cataract were detected, 2 retinal disorders and 7 refractive defects were identified. 5 patients came for follow up investigation.

The BOD Installation Function of Lions Club of Chicalim Bogmalo
On 20th July 2025 at 7.30 as a Zone Chairperson of Zone 2 of Region 1 I attended the BOD Installation Function of lions club of chicalim bogmalo at Hotel Flora Grand Banquet Hall. Vasco da Gama Goa where the new Board of Directors was sworn in. The event was well-organized and marked an important milestone for the organization. Being my home club I personally monitored the success of the event that marked a new chapter of the organization. The board was installed under the leadership of President Lion Ryanel Carvalho at the hands of MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar second Vice District Governor . The Region Chairperson MJF Lion Premanand Kerker also graced the occasion
