Special Initiative: Weeks of service
As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Making an Impact, One Activity at a Time!
Dental Camp
Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona organized Dental camp at Hall of Agonda Sports Club at Agonda Canacona Goa from 10:00am. To 1:30 pm. On 28th February 2026 We have served 62 patients with screening, cleaning, filling and removal of teeth. 20 Lions members and 15 Leo members spend 4 hrs. and Rs. 25,000/- to success this program. Total 3,000 people benefited of this program.

Attended District Governor Zone Advisory Meeting
On 8th September 2nd District Governors Zone Advisory meeting of Zone 2 Region 4 headed by Zone Chairperson Ln.Sachin Patil was hosted by Lions Club of Bicholim at Bicholim. Club President Ln Jyotsna Pokle attended the meeting. Clubs administrative and service actikvity report and future projects were presented by secretaries and presidents of club. Our club member and District Global Membership Team Coordinator MJF Lion Sushant Pokle was invited to speak on the topic membership growth and Mission 1.5.

Blood Donation Camp
Our club with a vision of 'Donate Blood save Life' organised a Blood Donation camp in association with Brahman Mahasangh and Physio treat in Sankhali. We observed a good response from people around collecting almost 27 pints. 3 members from our club voluntarily donated their blood. Refreshments were served to medical staff and donors. 14 members were present for the activity.

Zone Advisory 3 rd Meeting
3rd Zone Advisory Meeting was held on 23/02/2026 at 5.30 PM at Hotel Sapna Comfort. Murdeshwar, Honnaver, Kumata and Ankola Lions Clubs participated in this meeting. It was chaired by Zone Chairperson MJF LN. Mangala Nayak.
