As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

First General Body Meeting for the month of Jan-26 on 14.01.2026
The first general meeting of the month of January has been organized on 14.1.2026 The topics to be discussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Regarding making our Jamkhandi Club a Golden Club as per the request of DG. 2) Regarding celebrating Road Safety Week from 11.01.2026 – 17.01.2026. 3) Regarding organizing a program to attach radium to dividers. 4) Regarding submitting an application for the reconstruction of Lions Bus Shelter near GLBC Cross. 5) Regarding submitting an application to the Bus Depot Manager for a bus stop near Kadapatti Jagadishwara Temple. 6) Regarding undertaking a tour to Hyderabad on February 7th and 8th. 7) Breast Milk Bank – About starting a permanent project

Celebration Charter Night of Jamkhandi Club with District governor and district secretary. Following programs were conducted on this day. 1. Birthday celebration of Melvin Jones and Swami Vivekananda by Cake Cuting by District governor, district secretary, Jamkhandi Club PST, ZC and with Our Guests. 2. Felicitated 4 students from BLDE college , 1 professor of BLDE college and 6 lion members for sponsoring hungry relief programs and 3. Submited and Explaind all Service actaivity done till date by Ln.Engg. Anand Chougale (secretary of LCJ) 4. Culture activities by lion family members.
