As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Lions Global Service Week - Hunger
Lions club of Candolim participated in the Lions Global Service Week - Hunger, by distributing one month's groceries consisting of rice, wheat flour, sugar, oil, lentils, semolina which were donated to 15 underprivileged families in Candolim.

Lions Global Service Week - Hunger
Lions club of Candolim participated in the Lions Global Service Week - Hunger, by distributing cooked food to homeless families and daily wage workers living on the streets in Bastora during the Lions Global Service Week focusing on Hunger. This activity provided nutritious meals to individuals and families not having access to food thus offering immediate relief from hunger.
