As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ELDERS
Lions Club of Chodan in association with PTA of Dayanand High School Chodan observed INTERNATIONAL ELDERS DAY by organized "Slow Walk for Senior Citizens" flagged off by Club President Lion Manoj Mahale at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, 8th October 2025 followed by prize distribution.

Lions quest teacher training programme
Lions club Gangavathi organized lions quest teacher training programme on October 24 and 25 in lions school Gangavathi. Total 32 teachers , 26 lions school teachers and 6 Akshara school teachers participated in training programme. MJF Ln.S.H.Kabbinakantimath sir ,was trainer ,resource person for 2 days Lions quest teacher training programme. On 24th ZC Ln.Shiva N Dr.Chandrappa Dr.Jambunath Gouda BEO Sri.Natesh sir , DC for quest Ln.F.H.Chitragar sir And PST were present in inauguration ceremony. On 25 th Valedictory ceremony , all teachers received certificates.

Attended and participated in a Skit Play conducted by the District 317B at Vasco City on 07 October 2025 at 5.30 p.m.
Attended and participated in a Skit performed by the District 317B officers jointly with Lions Club of Vasco da Gama, Lions Club of Dabolim, Lions Club of Chicalim Bogmalo, Lions Club of Mormugao, Lions member and MES College students performed this skit play to support Lions Mental Health Awareness programme under UNSDG#3. This event held at Vasco City near railway Station at 5.30 p.m. Large crowd was attracted and supported by the public too. The event was co ordinated by the DC Lion Adrean. The date of this event be considered as 07 October 2025.
