As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Attended UNSDG #3 Mental Helath Awareness Programme Closing Ceremony held on 12 October 2025 at Hotel Flora Grand, Vasco da Gama. Dc for UNSDG #3 Lion Adrean Tores has organised this activity in coordination with Zone Chairperson Lion Sinu Daniel. During this event a interactive talk was conducted and a candle light show presented indicating throw light and talk openly on the matter relating to the Mental Health issues. This activity held on 12 October 2025, howerver reporting start and end date marked as 13 th October 2025 due to reason that this portal does not accept more than one activity under same contest rule)

No plastic drive awareness rally
Club members along with sarpanch and panch members of village panchayat varca undertook no plastic awareness rally in varca village.members visited shops.kiosks.hawkers with play cards and banner and requested them to discard the use of plastic.club also distributed them cloth bags.

Hearing and Speech Aid activity
Hearing and Speech Aid activity of the District was conducted at Old Goa Panchayat Hall . The mobile van along with the medical staff came and approx 70 odd patients were tested . Lions club of Old Goa and Lions Club of Panjim Greater were part of the organizing.
