As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Foundation (R), Hubli In Collaboration with Jaypriya Medical Foundation, Hubli Secure Hospital, Hubli & Lions Club of Hubli City. In remembrance of: Late Shri Shankargouda V. Patil – 24th Death Anniversary Late Smt. Laxmibai Shankargouda Patil – 11th Death Anniversary Late Shri Desaigouda V. Patil – 5th Death Anniversary Around 200 patients were screened and around 58 patients were identified for surgeries Surgeries were carried out at Jaypriya Medical Foundation, Hubli

Mental health
Description On 9-9-2025, Dr. Priya Nayak and Dr. Mamata Nayak created awareness about mental health. These renowned doctors explained in detail that mental health controls many diseases and how yoga, light exercise and diet are helpful in maintaining mental health. Lions members, Gram Panchayat President Sakri and many dignitaries were present in this program.

21. On 6th September 2025, we the P S T, along with a few members of Lions Club of Hubli City, celebrated Teachers’ Day at Government Higher Primary School, Chalmatti.
21. On 6th September 2025, we the P S T, along with a few members of Lions Club of Hubli City, celebrated Teachers’ Day at Government Higher Primary School, Chalmatti. We had the honour of felicitating the dedicated teachers of the school for their selfless service to society in nurturing young minds and preparing them for the future. We also participated in the prize distribution ceremony for the students of the school.

Registered and Participated in District Level Leadership Program
3 members of Lions Club of Sankhali, GMT Coordinator MJF Ln. Sushant Pokle, Zone Chairperson Ln Sachin Patil and President Ln.Jyotsna Pokle have successfully completed the District Lions Leadership Institute held on 13th and 14th September at Royal Ritz Resort, Hubli. DLLI 2025 hoisted by District 317B headed by District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik. PMJF Lion Vasudev Valawalkar, PMJF Lion Rajesh Mehra, PMJF Lion Ravi Manuja, PMJF Lion Ravi Hegde Huvinmane and PMJF Lion Dr Kirti Naik were the faculties for the DLLI.

District Teachers Felicitation Program
Participated and nominated one teacher for the District Teachers Felicitation Program 2025 at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, organised by District 317B. Lions Club of Sankhali nominated one teacher Shri Shriprasad Kerkar from Shri Bhumika Higher Secondary School, Parye Sattari Goa. He received the felicitation from the District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik and others.
