As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Carrier guidance talk
A career guidance talk was successfully conducted on 27 September 2025 at C.E.S H/s Assolda. As a part of Super school complex activity in collaboration with Lion club of Avedem Paroda. The session was led by Speaker Lion Avin Naik ( District chairperson for lion business network) Speaker motivated students to set goals and pursue career aligned with their interest and strengths. The Program began with welcome address by HM Mrs.Anmita Dessai followed by address by Lion Sanjay Gauns Dessai ( DC for students welfare) And Lion MJF Anand Prabhu Dessai (Charter member of lion club). The session witnessed active participation from five different schools accompanied by teachers and 60 students from C.E.S School, four observers from Gaurdian Angel Higher secondary. as well as esteemed members of lion club such as Lion Balkrishna Prabhu Dessai (DC for Environment), Lion shrinath Kamat (Treasurer of Lion club )and Lion Ujwal Gauns Dessai,

Annadasoh
In response to Dist Appeal to relieve hunger, our club conducted Annadasoh. Annadasoh (11th), Hunger Relief Activity was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice pulao. The activity was sponsored by Hrishikesh Hiremath.
