As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Mandatory visit to Lions club of Sadahivgad
On 08-09-2025 I paid my visit to Lions club of Sadashivagad. I was given cordial welcome by 7 active member members. I my speech I stressed upon conducting service activities connected to District. Government program and International President Program. I also told them not to delete any member and bring so many new members in the fold of Lionism. Main office bearer were present. They also promised to get minimum one MJF from the club.

B.O.D.cum.GB meeting.
First BOD cum GB Meeting of September was held on 10-09-2025 between 6 pm and 8 pm in Lions Vidyabhavan Honavar. MJF Lion Jeevottam Nayak presided over the meeting. 15 Lion members and 2 invited guests attended the meeting. Following agenda points were finalised: 1) Conduct of 3 peace poster contests at Marthoma, Holy Rosary and Gunavante HPS 2)Nomination of Reglon Meet Committee 3) District Governor’s Zone Advisory Committee 1st Meeting on 24-09-2026 at our Club 4) Dum and deaf checkup camp on 25-09-25 in Honavar 5) Awareness program in Childhood Cancer, Diabetes, Dental health, Eye donation and Women health and hygiene. Guest invites were motivated wth maximum information about services of Lions Clubs for joining Lions organisation.

ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಹೊನ್ನಾವರ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಗುಣವಂತೆ ಹಿ.ಪ್ರ.ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ದಿ.18-9 ರಂದು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಲಯನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಜೀವೋತ್ತಮ ನಾಯಕ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಾದ ಲಯನ್ ಎನ್.ಜಿ.ಭಟ್ಟ ಲಯನ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೇಕರ್ ಲಯನ್ ಎಮ.ವಿ.ಹೆಗಡೆ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.20 ವಿಧ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ಧರು.ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.

Child hood cancer awareness program
Child hood cancer awareness program conducted at Grampanchayat Library hall, Dhavaleswar. 400 Government school students attended the program. PDO of Dhavaleswar gram Panchayat and ZC Lion Ramesh Shettar also witnessed the function. Our charter member Ln Dr V N Gunda (Famous Paediatrician) addressed the function.
