As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Lead to sir workshop
Lead to Serve Workshop. Gokarna members participated in the workshop held at Circuit House Jog Falls on 17-08-2025. Our proud member P.D.G. Ganapathi Nayak inaugurated the program. The details of the meeting were informed to everyone in the Gokarna club meeting

Krishna Janmashtami
Balakrishna Competition. Balakrishna Competition was organized for children on 20-08-2025. More than 70 children dressed as Krishna participated in the program held in collaboration with Maitri Mahila Mandal. This program, which represented Indian culture, attracted all the public. All the participating children were given a gift by the Lions Club. A check of 5000 was also given to Mahila Mandal for the expenses of the ceremony. All the office bearers, public and parents of the contestants participated in the program

Independence Day
Swatantra dinacharane. Independence Day was celebrated grandly on 15-08-2025 at Subhash Chowk, Gokarna in collaboration with Gram Panchayat Gokarna. All the students of Bhadrakali Pre-University College participated in the auspicious event. It was said in the greeting speech that today's youth should be role models for youth like Subhash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh. Sweets were distributed to all the students who came and all the public on Rath Street in Gokarna town. All the Lions members, lecturers of Bhadrakali Pre-University College, and representatives of the Panchayat participated in this program and made the program a success.

Preliminary meeting of the alcohol abstinence camp. A preliminary meeting of the alcohol abstinence camp was held at Ganga Mata Sabha Bhavan, Gangavalli on 03-8-2025 in the morning. The expenses and format of the camp to be held from 4-7-2025 to 14-09-2025 in collaboration with Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar Rural Development Service Organization were discussed. The estimated cost is 350000.

Cultural Day
cultural day. On 28 2025, Sri Bhadrakali Pre-University College Gokarna celebrated the Children's Cultural Festival. The students of the college introduced the richness of Indian art through various Indian costumes. On this occasion, Lion PDG Sri Ganapathi Nayak Secretary Ramachandra Mullan, Treasurer Amit Gokarna RH Nayak Mahesh Nayak Pre-University College Principal CG Nayak were present. In this program, Lion President Nagarajanehalli Secretary Dr. Ramachandra Malan Treasurer Amit Gokarna Jatsit Bdji Ganapathi Nayak Beeranna Nayak,Ln. mahesh Nayak,Mahesh Shetty Babanna, and all lion members were present.

Pre cardiac health checkup camp
Description Free Heart Treatment Camp A free heart treatment camp was organized in collaboration with Lions at Bankikolla Primary Health Center on 2.08.2025. This program was launched by Dr. Subramaniam, Chief Specialist of Srinivasa Hospital Mangalore, by inaugurating the program. In this program, PDG Ganapathi Nayak, Lion President Nagaraj Manehalli, Lion RH Nayak, Secretaries Dr. Ramachandra Mallan, Treasurer Amit Gokarna, Jersey Anil Shet and all Lion members, social workers Mahesh Shetty Babanna, Chief Medical Officer of the Primary Health Center and staff participated. The treatment provided to 140 people by doing ECG in this program was appreciated by everyone. Gratitude was expressed to all the medical team of Srinivasa Hospital in this regard. 140 people benefited from this camp. Drinks and tiffin were arranged for all the participants.
