As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Donation of steel glasses to students of the school

Our two club members Ln Prakash Talikoti and Ln Sateesh Andennanavar donated 200 steel glasses to students of the government school on their birthday occasion.

ZCs OFFICIAL VISIT OF LIONS CLUB OF PANJIM

The Lion's Club of Panjim, organized the Official visit of the Zone Chairperson on 16th August, 2025. The function started at 4.00pm. The commemorate the same, the Club had their permanent Activity of the visit to their Adopted village in Neura, Goa. The same was celebrated in the presence of the President, MJF Lion Wilson Rodrigues, 4 DCs and other Dignitaries & Members. The ZC addressed the 13 Members present and the gathering present. The visit culminated with Distribution of Groceries, Gifts, Sarees and books for children to the families of the Adopted village. Snacks were served to all present. It was a good fellowship. It was a satisfying ZC visit.

ZCs OFFICIAL VISIT & BOD INSTALLATION OF LIONS CLUB OF ASSAGAO

Zone Chairperson's visit to the Lion's Club of Assagao. The Lion's Club of Assagao had organised an Activity wherein they commemorated the ZCs visit with the visit to the Old age home at Asagao. The BOD of Lions Club of Assagao was also installed on the same day in the presence of the Installation Officer, DC for Peace Poster, MJF Lion Agnelo Da Silva, RC Lion Murtaza Matheranwala, and other Dignitaries. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the 79th Independence day of India.

ZC VISIT TO LIONS CLUB OF CALANGUTE

on 15th August, 2025, as Zone Chairperson, made an Official Visit to the Lions Club of Calangute. The day being the 79th Independence Day, it was also commemorated with the Blood Donation camp organized by the Lions Club of Calangute. The Activity & the Zone Chairpersons visit was held in the distinguished presence of District Advisor, PDG MJF Lion Vasudev Valawalikar, LCIF Co-ordinator, PMJF Raies Ahmed, RC, Lion Murtaza Matheranwala and other Dignitaries from the Club.

ACTIVITY AT ASHA BHAWAN, TALEIGAO & FLAG HOISTING ORGANISED BY LC OF PANJIM

15th August. The day started with the Hoisting of the Flag at Asha Bhawan, Taleigao, a home for the Destitute, also one of the yearly Permanent Projects of my Home Club, Lions Club of Panjim, which also had an activity under the Humanitarian cause and distributed a large quantity of Groceries and Ceiling Fans. The function was attended by PDG, PMJF LION Nitin Maganlal and 4 District Chairpersons and also the Gujarat Samaj members from Panjim..
