As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Eye Checkup and cataract surgery camp
Lions Club of Maski conducted Eye camp .68 patients got eye check ups and 31 selected for eye surgeries. For surgery patients will be sent to Shankara Eye Hospital Shivamogga on 20th August 2025.

79th Independence day celebrated at Lions school. flag hoisting was done by president Ln prabhu ullagaddimath. flag salutation by secretary Ln vishwanath kamatagi. Thank you all for those are wittnessed and attended the function arranged by school management and staff in well mannered and general body meeting of august 2025...of lions club of hubli...regarding zc and rc visit has been discussed. thank you all...

79th India Independance day celebrations.
we celebrated 79th Independance of India at Chandranath Education Society's High School at Assolda. National Flag was hoisted by PMJF Lion Venkatesh Prabhu Dessai. various competitions were held for the students of the school viz wealth ou of waste and patriotic song singing competition. prizes were distributed at the hands of Lion members present. Region Chairman of region 2, lion Dharmu Raut Dessai was also present for the function.

Inauguration of 50" LED SMART TV**
On 15-08-2025 at 11.30 am, our Club President MJF Lion Jeevottam Nayak inaugurated the 50" LED Smart TV donated by our Club to Sri Satya Sai Karikana Parameshwari Kannada Medium School Areangadi. 40 Students, 10 Teachers, Head Mistress, Principal and Management members, along with 10 Lion members attended the programme. Total expenses: Rs1,75,000/-.

BOD cum GB Meeting was held on 10-08-2025 at 7 pm in Lions Vidyabhavan, Prabhat Nagar Honavar. 17 Lion members, attended the meeting. Following points were discussed : 1) Independence day program on 15-08-25. 2) Fancy dress of ಮುದ್ದು Krishna and ಮುದ್ದು

Following points were discussed : 1) Independence day program on 15-08-25. 2) Fancy dress of ಮುದ್ದು Krishna and ಮುದ್ದು Radhe competition. 3) Megha Health check up camp at Gunavante with the association of local organizations. 4) Inauguration of Smart LED TVS at Manki, Banasale, Hosapattan and Areangadi.

Hindi Patriotic Singing Competition for School
Lions Club of Belgaum organised Hindi Patriotic Song Singing Competition for high school children under Chairperson Lion Prabhakar Shahpurkar in memory of Late Lion Govindrao Phadake. In all 18 schools registered and 16 turned up. Each group had minimum of 7 members. Prizes worth ₹ 9500/- were awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 2 consolation winners. All tje participants were givem a copy of TELL ME WHY knowledge book.
