Special Initiative: Weeks of service

As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Dental camp

Dental camp was organised at Mahila Nutan School, Margao, for 8th std students, around 130 students were examined by Ln.Dr.Satish Haldonkar & Ln.Dr.Alisha Haldonkar, 3 students identified with best dentition were give prizes, 30 students indentified and referred for urgent dental check up, a dental hygiene kit bearing tooth paste and mouth wash distributed, dental hygiene guidelines pamphlets were handed over to students.

Vanamahotsava

L.C.Margao celebrated Vanamotsav at Presentation Convent School, Margao, planted the saplings, Club Secretary Ln.Dr.Alisha Haldonkar gave a talk on tree plantation and environment, Gulmohar, Jamun, Jam, Jack Fruit and Golden Shower tree samplings planted
