As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Annadasoha
Clubs Annadasoh (34th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice pulao. It was sponsored by Lions Club of Belgaum.

World Women Day
Lions Club of Canacona, Leo Club of Canacona and Vanmala Creation, Nagarcem Canacona Goa celebrate World Women Day on 08th March 2026, at 4:30 pm at Dattamandir Hall Nagarcem Canacona Goa. On the occasion of Women day we organize Sweet dish Competition, Special talk on Women’s Health care by Dr. Shradha Kankonkar, BHMS, DFN, wellness coach, and others programme. Around 100 women’s were present for the function. 15 Lions members and 10 Leo members were present and spend 4 hrs. and Rs. 25000/- to make success of this programme.

Monthly BOD meeting held on 11.03.2026 and activities to be carried out this month are discussed. RC meet, Region XI, is scheduled on 22.03.2026 at Basav Palace Ilkal and RC MJF Ln Dr Santosh Pujar briefed about preparation made for this meet.

Lions Club of Jamkhandi 1. Meeting Details: Date: March 11, 2026 (Wednesday) Time: 7:28 PM Venue: SRA Club, Jamkhandi Meeting Type: 1st General Body Meeting of the month 2. Agenda & Discussion Points: Environmental Protection: Reviewed the progress of ongoing environmental conservation initiatives and approved the plan to continue these activities for the upcoming quarter. World Water Day: Discussion on organizing awareness programs and conservation drives to mark World Water Day. Eye Check-up & Surgery Camp: Finalized the schedule and logistics for the upcoming Mega Eye Screening and Surgery Camp for the local community. Administrative Decisions (Membership & Dues): Deliberated on the eligibility criteria for District and Board of Directors (BOD) positions for members with outstanding dues. Anna Dasoha (Food Service): Planned the execution and sponsorship for the "Anna Dasoha" (Community Food Service) scheduled for the month of March. Medical Services for NSS: Agreed to provide medical expertise and doctor services from the Lions Club to support local NSS (National Service Scheme) camps. 3. Conclusion: The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair. All members were encouraged to actively participate in the upcoming community service projects.

Celebration of International Women's Day 2026
CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2026, Organized by: Lions Club of Jamkhandi & S.T.C. Arts and Commerce College, Banahatti Date: March 10, 2026 Mode: Online (Virtual Platform) Theme: "Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls" Introduction: The Lions Club of Jamkhandi (Dist 317 B), in an esteemed collaboration with Shree Tammanappa Chikodi (S.T.C.) Arts and Commerce College, Banahatti, successfully conducted a virtual program to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 10, 2026. The event aimed to honor the achievements of women and discuss the roadmap toward gender equality and justice. Program Highlights: Inauguration & Welcome: The session commenced at 10:00 AM with a digital invocation. Principal Dr. G. R. Junnayakar delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the college's commitment to empowering female students through education. Chief Guest Address: The Chief Guest, Smt. Bhimabhai S. Malashetti, shared an inspiring message on resilience. She highlighted that legal rights are the foundation upon which women must build their social and economic independence. Presidential Remarks: Ln. Dr. M. P. Tanappagol (President, Lions Club Jamkhandi) spoke about the global theme "Give to Gain," encouraging mentorship and community support for women-led initiatives. Key Speakers: Smt. Geeta S. Sajjan and Smt. Reshma Gajakosha presided over the session, offering insights into the evolving role of women in leadership within the region. In this program 6 womens ware feliciated.
