As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Refreshment and Lunch to all the members
Refreshment was servered on the 41st Charter Nite was organized by the Lions Club of Old Goa as well as the same was witnessed by the DG PMJF Lion Jay Amol Naik and Lion Dr. Kirti Naik during their visit to the Lions Club of Old Goa on 13/01/2026 at Old Goa residency.

Preparatory Meeting for Region Meet
The members of the Lions Club of Candolim attended the Preparatory Meeting for Region Meet of Region IV called by Region Chairperson PMJF Lion Prashant Chanekar on 18th January 2026 at God Food, Marcel to discuss organization of Region Meet of Region IV to be held on 1st March 2026.

Speech was delivered by the Chief Guest Lion Purushottam Karpe on the occasion of Republic Day at Govt. Primary School, Carambolim, Tiwsadi, Goa.

Cultural Program on the occasion of Republic Day
A small cultural program was presented by the students of the Govt. Primary School, Carambolim, Tiwsadi, Goa. Speeches were also delivered by the students highlighting the significance of the day.

District Governor's 3rd Zone Advisory
The members of the Lions club of Candolim attended the District Governor's third Zone Advisory hosted by the Lions Club of Porvorim at the Lions Club of Porvorim Medical Centre. The Zone Chairperson Lion Venkatesh Babladi expressed his happiness with the Club's performance and advised the members to try to increase the membership. He also commended them on the regular reporting. He briefed the members about the future District programmes.

Celebrated Republic Day at Govt. Primary School, Carambolim, Tiwsadi, Goa
The Lion Club of Old Goa Celebrated the Republic Day at the Government Primary School at Carambolim, Tiwsadi, Goa. Lions Secretary Lion Purushottam Karpe was the Chief Guest for the function and unfurled the National Flag on the occasion. Students, Headmaster, teachers, and parents were present for the function.

Newly joined members Lion Pradnya Rane and Lion Akhil Rane had put a food stall in the Lokutsav, wherein the banner of Lion Club Old Goa was displayed.

A total of 17 members of Lions Club of Candolim attended the CLLI conducted by MJF Lion Darryl on 23rd of January 2026 at the Lions Club House, Candolim.

Payment of Semi Annual international dues for 2nd Half by 31st January by Lions Club of Candolim.
The Lions Club of Candolim paid the Semi Annual International dues of 44 members. A sum of Rs 120540/60 was paid to the International on January 8th, 2026.
