As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Visit to hospital under relieving the hunger program.
LC Canacona organised relieving the hunger program in government Health centre at Chawdi Canacona Goa. fruits and other items were ditributed at the hands of lions . i was invited as a chief guest.

Visit to Orphanage - Shelter for women.
LC Margao Central organised visit to LAR shelter for woman , orphanage in Margao. Grocery items were given to the orphanage. Along with the lion members of Margao club, i was present for the program. MJF Lion Rahul was also present.

Awareness program for Girls
Awareness Program for girls : On 10th January 2026 at Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya at 2.30pm awareness program was organized in association with ECO Hub and Ningamma Hugar Trust for girls regarding use and disposal of sanitary pads. The talk by Vaishakha Kulkarni, CEO ECO Hub, was very excellent. ECO friendly sanitary pads were distributed to all the girls. MJF Lion Namrata Patil donated for eco friendly sanitary pads. Lion Dr. Anirudha Kulkarni initiated the program

Hunger Relief
On 11th January 2026, the valedictory function was Hunger Service Week was organized at Lions School, Narayanapur at 5pm. Shri Manjunath Battennavar, Corporator, HDMC was the chief guest. Lion Vasant Bhat, President, Narayanapur Kalyan Samsthe, Dharwad was Guest of Honour, Grocery wad donated by Seven poor and needy families of corporation workers of Narayanapur area. The grocery was sponsored by Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Shaila Karagudri, Lion Ashwin Koppikar, Lion Shrikant Devagiri, Lion Mukund Heblikar, Lion Nandini Bagi, Lion Vanita Hebsur and Lion Amrata Joshi.

Hunger Relief
The sixth activity of Hunger Service Week was organized on 10th January 2026 at 11.30am at Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya, Kalkeri, Dharwad. The Annadana was sponsored by Lion Dr.Rajashri Gudaganavar and MJF Lion Suresh Gudaganavar. More then 250 students were served with food. Lion Dr.K.V.Achyutha donted for banana which were distributed to all the 255 students.
