Special Initiative: Weeks of service

As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Zone Advisory Second Meeting

During the District Governor's Zone Advisory Committee Second Meeting of Zone-II, Region 12, held on December 17, 2025, at Raikar Manor, Karwar, hosted by LC Karwar and conducted by Zone Chairperson Lion Anil Shet, I spoke about the upcoming Worldwide Week of Hunger Service, explained the reporting process and importance of both Portals, and requested the District Chairpersons to organize at least one activity under their respective portfolios. Maintaining the trees

Lions club Gangavathi Sponsored the maintenance of trees by pouring the water in Julai nagar circle to Ranapratap circle in Gangavathi. Maintaining more than 25 trees planted in road divider. Ln.Suryanarayan , President Ln.Dr.Shivakumar Malipatil ,Ln.shivappa Gali and other volunteers were present.

Conducted a Training Workshop at District Level on topic "Artificial Intelligence". Total 24 district level leaders attended the live workshop on Artificial Intelligence, The training was imparted by myself. The workshop was featured with AI based techniques on how to save time and money and to accomplish day to day assignments in a simple and easy manner.

The members of the Lions Club of Candolim attended the District Governor's Official Visit to the Lions Club of Dabolim. Lion Satpal Chorge, Lion Sneha Chorge, Lion John Fernandes and Lion Romana Crasto Fernandes were presented certificates at the hands of the District Governor Lion JaiAmol Naik for attending the 2nd Cabinet Meet and participating in the District Tour in Thailand in October 2025.
