Special Initiative: Weeks of service
As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Using our district directory, identified RDC/DCs from the Clubs in our allotted Regions/Zones (Region-VII and Region-XII)... spoke with them personally, suggested them to conduct at least one major activity under their portfolio...Also motivated them to report their activities/visits to clubs/ district events in our District Portal.... Distribution of food grains, vegetable,and cooked food to the labourers
Club distributed food grains, vegetable, and cooked food to the needy labourers and migrants at varca at the hands of 2nd VDG Pmjf lion Sudesh Borkar and zone chairman lion Gaurish vernekar.Food was also served to nearly 200 migrants.Region chairman Lion Dharmu Raut desai was also present for the program.

Free Distribution of Vegetable Seeds
We distributed free vegetable seeds to eligible farmers and individuals to promote food security. Special discounts on agriculture spray pumps are also extended upto 11th January 2026. This initiative supported sustainable farming and aligned with Lions Internationalâs Hunger Programme Week.
