As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Celebrated Christmas with the students
Lions club of Vasco da Gama had a xmas celebration with our adopted primary government school children. Function started with quiz and info on xmas day . Children sang songs , danced and had fun time with Santas. Star of the day was our Club Secretary Lion Adv. Sunil loran who gave a Santa surprise . He with a humble nature and very enthusiastically mingled around the children. Thank you Lion Sunil for showing your this positive gesture and sharing the happiness with the children. True remark towards joy of celebration ππΌ. Blankets and snacks were distributed to the students as Santa gifts.

Visited Ashamahal- rehab Center for women and children
Asha Mahal in Taleigao, Goa, is a historic building and women's empowerment center, functioning as a rehabilitation home for women and children facing various life challenges, offering them temporary shelter (3 months to 3 years) and support, run under the Central Social Welfare Board with help from local NGOs. Lions Club of Vasco da gama visited Asha Mahal and spend some time with the inmates and counselled them on positive attitude towards life, also distributed snacks and blankets to all the inmates in Asha Mahal.

Sponsoring of Vehicles For Pulse Polio Immunisation 2025 program
Lions Club of Vasco, sponsored vehicles to the Urban Health Center in Vasco for the service of health personnnel to conduct a camp in pulse polio immunisation by going door to door service and providing the vaccine for the ones who could not make it on the national polio Day, which was on 14th of December. The Urban Health Center sincerely thanked Lions Club of Vasco Gama for this active Service and helping them when the need was there. The members themselves drove their personal vehicles and did pick and drop service as well to the staff.

Celebrated clubs 63rd Charter Night
Club celebrated its 63rd charter night, where members actively participated and enjoyed the evening. District governor PMJF Lion Jaiamol Naik was the chief guest, District cabinet secretary PMJF lion Kirti Naik,Region chairperson MJF Lion Premanand Kerkar , zone chairperson lion Arnold do Rego were also Present for the charter night evening.
