As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

ON THE 26TH OF DECEMBER, THE LIONS CLUB OF JAMAKANDI CONDUCTED A FREE DENTAL CHECKUP CAMP AT ALABAL JAMAKANDI DISTRICT. IN THIS CAMP MORE THAN 150 STUDENTS GET BENEFITS FROM THIS CAMP.

Breast Cancer screening
A member of the Lions Club of Margao Saheli, MJF Ln. Rama Mehta, attended a Breast Cancer Screening Camp organized by the Swasth Mahila Swasth Goa Initiative on 14th December 2025. The camp aimed at promoting early detection and awareness of breast cancer, contributing to women’s health and well-being in the community.

Official Region Chairperson visit
The Lions Club of Margao hosted the official visit of the Region Chairperson on 16th December 2025 at Laxmi Empire, Margao. The meeting was attended by club members along with RC PMJF Ln. Vishvamber Kenkare, who shared valuable insights on strengthening the club and encouraged the conduct of meaningful activities that benefit both the club and the community.
