As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

DIABETIC AND HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP
A DIABETIC AND GENERAL HEALTH CAMP WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE STAFF OF KARNATAKA STATE ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION GOKAK ON 22.12.2025 BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK IN COOPERATION OF DEPOT MANAGER GOKAK.190 EMPLOYEES OF THE CORPORATION WERE CHECKED FOR BP,SUGAR AND OTHER GENERAL DESEASES AND SUITABLY ADVISED.LION MJF DR.MURGOD ALONG WITH HIS HOSPITAL STAFF CARRIED OUT THE CAMP.LION PRESIDENT,SECRETARY,AND MANY OTHER LIONS PARTICIPATED.

A PAIR OF COLLECTED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK FROM THE DECEASED SHANKAR G KOUTANALI OF GOKAK,AGED 79 YRS WHO BREATHED HIS LAST IN K L E HOSPITAL GOKAK ON 18.12.2025.THE COLEECTED CORNEA WERE SAFELY SENT TO M M JOSHI EYE HOSPITAL HUBLI FOR FURTHER INSTALLATION AND TWO BENEFICIARIES WERE BENEFITTED.

PULSE POLIO AWARENESS PROGRAM
PULSE POLIO PROGRAM WAS CONDUCTED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK ON 21.12.2025 AT SAI MANDIR,VIDYANAGAR GOKAK IN ASSOCIATION WITH HEALTH DEPARTMENT GOKAK.250 BABIES WERE GIVEN POLIO DROPS .THE PROGRAM WAS CONDUCTED DURING 8AM TO 5PM.PRESIDENT LION S M HANJI,SECRETARY,TREASURER MANY DOCTORS AND MEMBERS OF THE CLUB WERE INVOLVED IN THE ACTIVITY.

Visit to Permanent project
The monthly visit to our permanent project Wall of Kindness was undertaken and items were replenished. It was attended by Lion Geeta Kittur & Ln Hemant Kittur.

Eye & Dental screening
Our Club conducted free vision check up camp at Yadgud village, Chikodi taluka. In all 6 lions attended. Eye Screening :- In all 60 peoples eye were screened. 10 persons detected with cataract.They have been advised to visit kLE hospital on 21/12/25 for further follow up. Lion Dr Mahesh Magdum headed the ophthalmology team. Our Club conducted free dental check up camp at Yadgud village, Chikodi taluka. Dental Checkup : - No of beneficiaries were 53 persons. They were advised proper dental care by Ln Dr Jagadish Kadammanavar, Ln Pratibha Kadammanavar and their team.
