As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Goa Independent day celeberation
Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona celebrate The Goa Independent Day on 19th December 2025 at Lions Club House, Xeller Canacona Goa at 8.30 am. Our Club Prasident Lion Pankaj Dessai gave salute to the flag. Total 20 Lions members and 10 Leo members were present for the function. The Lion Members spent 2 hours and spend Rs. 10,000/- to success this programme.
