As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CHRISTMAS VISIT TO AN OLD AGE HOME ON 21.12.25
THE LIONS CLUB MEMBERS VISITED AN OLD AGE HOME NAMELY JOHN OF GOD HOME ON THE 21ST DECEMBER, 2025 FROM 10AM TO 12 NOON. THE HOURS SPENT WERE WITH DANCING WITH THE OLD LADY INMATES. CAROL SINGING AND SMILESALL OVER. IT WAS INDEED A TOUCHING DAY BRINGING SMILES AND HAPPINESS TO ALL AROUND. SNACKS AND SWEETS WERE SERVED TO THE 35 PLUS INMATES AND ALSO AROUND 10 STAFF.
