As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Celebrated Children's Day
Our club celebrated Children's Day with great joy and fun in our adopted Government Primary School, Harvalem on 14 th November 2025. 14 th November is celebrated to honour the legacy and birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Around 5 Lion members were present. Project chairperson was Ln. Chetana Rane. Celebrations began with National songs followed by inaugural speech and also lighting lamp in front of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's portrait and garlanding the same.It was a great moment to see young kids singing songs and also understanding the importance of the Day. Sweets boxes along with gifts packets containing stationery items were distributed to all the kids which was an overwhelming moment of joy for them. Had a memorable time with the little ones.

WE CELEBRATR KARNATAKA RAJOSTAVA AT HOSMATH SRI BASAVA SHANTLING SWAMIJI HOSTED THE FLAG AND ARRANGEMENTS OF ENTERTAINMENTPROGRAM BY STUDENTS AND ALSO WE DISTRIBUTE SWEETS TO STUDENTS NEARLY 194 STUDENTS ARE ATTENDED THE FUNCTION.

Conducted Careers counselling talks to SSC students from 5 high schools in and around Aldona with professional speakers addressing on careers in Merchant Navy, Air Force, Competitive exams, Financial careers etc etc at Parish Centre Hall Aldona

Conducted General Body Meeting
General Body Meeting of Lions club of Sankhali was held on 11 th November 2025. Around 18 members were present for the meeting. Fruitful discussions with regards to upcoming service activities and implementation of the same were held. Also had a wonderful birthday celebration of MJF Ln Nizam Ladji.

Vedic Maths Introductory workshop
The Vedic Math Introductory workshop was held by Lions club of Sankhali in Progress High School, Sankhali on 7th November. Resource person was District chairperson for Vedic Maths MJF Ln Sagar Sakordekar. The workshop was attended by 160 students of std 5th and 6th. The explanation of the vedic maths was very informative, impactful leaving a kind of curiosity in young minds to learn even more deep into the subject.
