As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

VISION
Today's Eyes Check up camp at our Lions Medical Center Old Hubli Hubli Dr Asik K Das from MMJE Hospital Hubli examined 36 Beneficiaries and out of which 13 beneficiaries referred for cataract operations. RBS BP was examined by Vivek Ambekar and Hiremath to21 beneficiaries. 👍👍WE SERVE🙏🙏🙏

Meeting attended
Attended the home club meetings and guided them from time to time towards service activities of international and district 2. Advised all clubs in my zone to conduct Peace Poster Contest. Honnavar, Murdeshwar and Kumta clubs conducted the Peace Poster Contest. Personally I participated in the Peace Poster Contest arranged by club 3. Participated in the twinning program of Lions club of Murdeshwar, Honnavar and Ankola city with Lions Club of Sagar of District 317C it was nicely arranged and happy to be part of the twinning program. 4. All clubs in my zone have paid district and international dues. However Lions Club of Ankola Karavali has to pay some pending amount towards International Fees. They have been advised toe clear off the pending bill otherwise the club may be kept under financial suspension. 5. All the clubs will give positive membership growth during the lionistic year. DG’s zone advisory committee second meeting is convened on Sunday the 30th of November 2025. All the clubs are informed well in advance. Agend and meeting notice are attached. Report of zone meeting will be sent after the meeting is over. 6. On the same day zone vise orientation program is arranged for the Lions of all 4 clubs. PDG Lion N. M. Hegde of 317C and Lion S. J. Kairanna are resource persons. Invitation is attached.

Jnanaganga Orientation Programme
On 30/11/2025 at Mudeshwar, Zonal Level orientation programme was conducted by me in my capacity of Zone Chairperson. There were two resource persons i.e. MJF Ln. N. M. Hegde PDG 317 C who spoke on “Proud to be a Lion” and MJF Ln. S. J. Kairanna, Past Cabinet Secretary of 317 B, spoke on “Lead to Serve and Serve to Lead”, slogan of International President A. P. Singh. 62 Lions from five clubs participated in the seminar. Both the speakers were very excellent and everyone appreciated it. I had the honour to be the Chief Guest in the function. The seminar was named as “Jinanaganga.” The meridian orientation seminar was hosted by Lions Club of Mundeshwar.

SIGNATURE ACTIVITY - LIONS SPANDANA FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR MDICAL AID TO POOR FAMILY IN NEED. TRISHA TIMMANNA BHOVIVADDAR D/O TIMMANNA RESIDENT OF BADANPAL JADDI OF HITLALLI POST, STUDYING IN HONNAVAR TALLUK GERSAPPA HOSTEL AND SCHOOL FELL FROM THE 3RD FLOOR AND INJURED HER HEAD IN CRITICAL CONDITION. GOT TREATED IN MANIPAL HOSPITAL AND NOW AT HOME IN LITTLE RECOVERY STAGE. WE HELPED HER AT HER HOME, 35 KMS FROM SIRSI CITY, WITH CHEQUE OF RS.10000/- THIS AMOUNT WAS SPONSORED BY LION SHAMSUNAR BHAT, PAST PRESIDENT OF OUR CLUB. ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಪಂದನ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಪಂದನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲ ಆಶಯದಂತೆ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳು ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಔಷಧಿ ವೆಚ್ಚಕ್ಕೆ ಧನಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿರಸಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 35 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಿತ್ತಲಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಂದೆ ಬದನ್ ಪಾಲ್ ಜಡ್ಡಿ ಎಂಬ ಕುಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ತ್ರಿಷಾ ತಿಮ್ಮಣ್ಣ ಭೋವಿವಡ್ಡರ. ಈಕೆ ಗೇರುಸೊಪ್ಪದ ಬಂಗಾರಮಕ್ಕಿ ಹಾಸ್ಟೆಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೇ ಮಹಡಿಯಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದು ತುಂಬಾ ಚಿಂತಾ ಜನಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣಿಪಾಲ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದು, ಸದ್ಯ ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಗುಣಮುಖ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಇಂದು ಆಕೆಗೆ ₹10,000/- ಮೊತ್ತದ ಚೆಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಧನಸಹಾಯದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇದ್ದು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಲಯನ್ ಶಾಮಸುಂದರ ಭಟ್ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.
