As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S II ADVISORY MEETINGS
Today i.e. on 30th November 2023, Dist. Governor II Zone advisory meeting was held at Mudeshwar at 9:30 a.m. The meeting was sponsored by Lions Club of Mundeshwar. It was attended by P.S. T (and) 1st Vice President of L.C. Honavar & L.C. Kumata, L.C. Mundeshwar and L.C. of Ankola Karwar. It was well organised and Ln. N. M. Hegde P.D.G. 317 C spoke on Membership Growth and P.D.G. Ln. Dr. Kulhind was present. Ln. Mangal Nayak, Zone Chairperson, presided over the meeting and conducted the deliberation.

SIGNATURE ACTIVITY- DIABETIC BLOOD SUGAR AND BP TEST CAMP
SIGNATURE ACTIVITY OF EVERY MONTH LAST SUNDAY- 5 THDIABETIC BLOOD SUGAR AND BP TEST CAMP WAS ORGANISED AT CONSISTANT PLACE AT SHUBHADA PHARMA OF LION GANESH HEGDE, CLUB CO-ORDINATOR OF THIS EVENT. 65+ BENIFICIARIES TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS EVENT. CIPLA MEDICAL COMPANY SUPPORTED THIS ACTIVITY. CAMP STARTED AT MORNING 9 AND CONCLUDED AT NOON 1PM.

Jnanaganga- Orientation program
. On 30/11/2025 at Mudeshwar, Zonal Level orientation programme was conducted by me in my capacity of Region Chairperson.There were two resource persons i.e. MJF Ln. N. M. Hegde PDG 317 C who spoke on “Proud to be a Lion” and MJF Ln. S. J. Kairanna, Past Cabinet Secretary of 317 B, spoke on “Lead to Serve and Serve to Lead”, slogan of International President A. P. Singh. 62 Lions from five clubs participated in the seminar. Both the speakers were very excellent and everyone appreciated it. I had the honour to be the Chief Guest in the function. The seminar was named as “Jivan Ganga.” The meridian orientation seminar was hosted by Lions Club of Mundeshwar.
