As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

conducting the diabetic checkup and awareness programme
Lions club Gangavathi and Indian Medical Association Gangavathi jointly organised the free blood Bp health checkup campaign on behalf of world diabetic day. Dr. G B Sattur senior diabetologist and Karnataka Rajyotsava Awarded doctor explained how to control and maintain the blood sugar level and interacted with the diabetic patients and clarified the doubts. sri Sadanand Naik honourable 1st Additional District & session judge Gangavathi inaugurated the programme. Dr. Mallanagouda president Indian Medical Association Gangavathi welcomed the dignataries, lions club Gangavati president Ln Dr. Shivakumar Malipatil explained in brief about the programme. senior lions club members Ln Dr Chandrappa, Ln Dr Somaraju Ln. CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS AT PEACE HAVEN, A SCHOOL / HOME FOR THE LESS PRIVILEDGED
THE CHILDRENS DAY ACTIVITY WAS CONDUCTED AT PEACE HAVEN, CARANZALEM, GOA BY THE LIONS CLUB OF PANJIM. THE ZC MJF RICHARD PINTO WAS PRESENT. A heartfelt thank you to our Chairperson for Service, *MJF Lion Aurea* *Noronha* , for coordinating and organising a wonderful interactive storytelling session with the team from Bookworm. The children were all smiles and thoroughly enjoyed the singing and dancing with our members. A special thank you to *Lion Marietta* for coordinating with the Principal of Peace Haven, Sr. Rani to facilitate this activity. We were happy to offer juice, chocolates, takeaways for each child, and a delicious lunch for all present.

TWINNING ACTIVITY LC PANJIM & LC CHODAN
THE LC OF PANJIM, JUST COMPLETED A TWINNING ACTIVITY WITH THE LIONS CLUB OF CHODAN BY DONATING GOOD USABLE CLOTHES (SOME BRAND NEW), TO THE LC OF CHODAN. THE ACTIVITY WAS CONDUCTED AT THE GANDHI CIRCLE, OLD GOA. A ANNUAL ACTIVITY BY BOTH CLUBS.

World Diabetic Day successfully conducted by Lions club manvi. More then 50 people involved and examined random sugar Test. Dr Rohini Manvikar given advice to How to lead life healthy. She suggested medication for those who suffered Diabetic. Concluded with a vote of thanks.

IN THIS MEETING, OUR REGION MENTOR, LION MAHESH DARABAR SIR, AND THE JAMAKANDI, MUDALAGI, ILKAL, BAGALAKOT, AND MAHALINGAPUR CLUB PRESIDENTS AND TEAM CAPTAINS ARE PRESENT.
