As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

The Weekly Annadasoh (19th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice pulao. It was sponsored by our Club.

As zone chairperson attended the E-waste collection drive on 16th November 2025

As zone chairperson attended the E-waste collection drive on 16th November 2025 organized by Lions club of Dabolim and also contiributed by collecting and handing over electronic waste to the lions club of Dabolim as the Zone Chairpersons contribution to the Region. Thereby helping the environment.

2nd Zone Advisory – Zone II Region I held on 15th November

2nd Zone Advisory – Zone II Region I held on 15th November 2025 at hotel HQ, hosted by Lions Club of Mid town Ponda .Three clubs of the zone were present namely LC of Ponda Midtown, LC of Vasco Da Gama & LC of Chicalim Bogmalo – attended the Advisory meeting along with their office bearers shared club updates, goals & future plans. While the President of lions club of Mormugao send a leave of absence for not being able to attend the Zone advisory meeting. Key Moments: Inspiring session on Mission 1.5 by MJF Lion Sunil Mevada Embassador - Strategies & Lions resources Available for Membership Growth UN Sustainability Goals talk + poster release – Lion Adrian Torres District Chairperson for United Nations Sustainable developments goal. The Advisory turned out to be very fruitful, motivating & energizing event. Lion Adrian presented appreciation certificate for the clubs for their exemplary service towards Mental Health awareness and Prevention
