As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

AN EYE AND BODY DONATION AWARENESS PROGRAMME WAS CONDUCTED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK DURING SHANKARLING JATRA MAHOTSAV DURING 5TH AND 6TH OF NOVEMBER 2025.BANNERS WERE DISPLAYED AND PAMPLETS WERE DISTRIBUTED AROUND SHANKARLING TEMPLE AREA,BANAGAR GALLI GOKAK.

General Body Meeting for the month of Nov 12-11-2025 (1st)
The first general Bord meeting of the month of November has been held on 12-11-2025 at 5:00 PM at SRA Club Jamkhandi. The topics to be discussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Regarding - On Occasion of children's Day celebration dental check up or eye screening at Girish Nagar School. 2) Regarding - on 14/11/25 Diabetic checkup by Ln. Dr. Daddi at TMC(Town Municipal Corporation). 3) Regarding - Bone Density Check. 4) Diabetic speech by Ln. Dr. Daddi at Government PU college Hunnur. 5) Regarding E - waste collection. 4) Regarding - Workshop on banking service closing day and speech on preparation for exams like IAS/KAS by AC madam. 5) Regarding-speech on biodiversity. 6) Participation for Dipawali Dhamaka in Hubli. 7) Regarding - Mask distribution to farmers. 8) Regarding - submitting a request letter to the bus depot manager for the bus stop at jagdeshwar temple kadapati. 9) Regarding - Reconstruction of Bus shelter letter to MLA.

CPR training for teachers to save lives
A training session was run for the teachers of St Thomas school, Cansaulim and its students from standard 7th to 10th. While it served as an awareness session for 7th, 8th and 9th standard children, the 10th standard kids performed hands-on practice along with the teachers. A volunteer form Australia Ms Kerrie Oakes, certified Herbalist also assisted in delivering the session.
