As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Speech and hearing therapy
L.C. of Ugar. Date: 28-10-2025. ACTIVITY : SPEECH AND HEARING THERAPY. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Lions Club of Ugar together conducted Speech and Hearing Therapy camp on 28-10-2025 under the guidance of Region Chairperson MJF. Lion Bharati Vadavi. A Team of doctors from Dr. S R Chandrashekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing, Hennur main Road, Bengaluru under Dr. Diana and Saldhana checked patients. Total 110 Patients were tested and suggested medicine as per requirements in the camp. It was appreciated by the public of Kudachi and Ugar.

BOD meeting 04/10/2025
Lions Club of Old Goa held its regular Board of Director Meeting at Hotel Ratna Sagar – Old Goa, Goa on 04/10/2025. Following Board members were present:- 1. Lion Daniel Gonsalves – President 2. On 9th October, Lions Club of Old and Chodan Organized Mental Health and Well Being with Dr Vithoba Mhalkar mesmerized 50 Teachers of St Theresa High School St Estevam on Emotions with topic Enhancing Emotional Intelligence for Proactive Teaching. The said activity was reported on the Sagar Varta Media.

Lions Club of Old Goa attended the District Goveroner’s 2nd Zone Advisory Meeting hosted by Lions Club of Cortalim on Sunday , 12th Oct at 7:00 PM at Hotel Flora Grand, Vaddem, Vasco. MJF Lion Daniel S Kurian, ZC , Zone 1, Reg 1 was he Zone Chair Person for the said meet.

Mobile Speech and Hearing Loss Clinic on Saturday, 11th October 2025
Lions Club of Old Goa, in association with Lions Club of Panjim Greater, organised a Mobile Speech and Hearing Loss Clinic on Saturday, 11th October 2025, from 9:00 a.m. onwards for the citizens of Old Goa, Corlim, Carambolim, Karmali, and neighbouring areas. The initiative aimed to promote early detection of hearing and speech issues and to raise awareness about ear and speech health within the community. A total of 78 members of the general public were screened for hearing and speech-related conditions during the camp. The initiative received an overwhelmingly positive response from the citizens. A special note of appreciation to the team from Dr. S. R. Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing, Bengaluru, for conducting the tests and providing valuable guidance to the participants. MJF Lion Sunil Mevada, District Ambassador for Mission 1.5, served as the Project Coordinator for this impactful activity
