As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Cleanliness of Railway Station Garden and Bus Shelter next to the railway station maintained by the Lions Club of Old Goa
As part of the activity, the railway station garden, which is maintained by the Lions Club of Old Goa, was thoroughly cleaned. The permanent project of the Bus Shelter next to the railway station, also maintained by the club, was inspected and serviced.

Talk by the Chief Guest Shri Daku Madidkar on Importance of Cleanliness
A talk was delivered by Shri Daku Madidkar, President of North Goa Zilla Parishad, as the Chief Guest on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti Celebration which was attended by the students of Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, Carambolim.

Participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti on 2nd October the Students of Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, Carambolim participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with great enthusiasm at Karmali Railway Station. Members of Lion Club Old Goa, along with students of Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, undertook a cleanliness drive covering the Konkan Railway premises, garden area, and surroundings.

Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti Celebration
The Lions Club of Old Goa observed and Celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti on 2nd October with the students of Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, Carambolim. The event was graced by Shri Daku Madidkar, President of North Goa Zilla Parishad, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Nilesh Shirodkar as the Guest of Honour.

Second Cabinet meeting was conducted at Pattaya . During that time All with all the cabinet member I have participated in Birth day celebration of our DG and also participated in the recreation Tpur.

Mental health and wellbeing
Mental health and well-being programme was organised by Lions Club of Honavar at Government ITI Honavar. 190 students, Principal & 6 teachers and 12 Lion members attendedthe programme. Resource person Lion Dr Narasimha Pandit from Art of Living Bengaluru gave an excellent lecture with activities from 11 am to 1 pm on 12-10-2025
