Special Initiative: Weeks of service

As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Our club participated actively in Speech & Hearing District programme at BDSSIA Hall Udyambagh. Many workers from the surrounding industries availed the services. The ears were examined and were advised accordingly.

Pre Deepawali celebration

"Pre Deepawali celebration"... PST of our club arranged the event "Pre Deepawali celebration" with collaboration Sukoon hotel. Owner of the hotel is also our club member.In this event all the lion club members are invited with their family and friends. Many activities, funny games were arranged... Prizes are announced to winners...all participants enjoyed the games and everything. Dinner is also arranged.
