As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Making an Impact, One Activity at a Time!
wheel chair service to Devotees of Fama of Colva church and Free drinking water to devotees
Wheel chair service is provided every year to the Devotees who visit Fama of Colva Church throughout the day. Activity which stats at 7.00 am in the morning and continues till 10.00 pm is a one of our permanent & signature project of our club. This year we provided a battery operated buggy service to all the elderly people. This proved out to be a very successful service activity of our club. our club also provides free bottled drinking water to devotees who normally stand in queue for hours to seek blessings of Minino Jesus during Fama of Colva church. Although these are 2 separate activities, system does not accept the same since it comes under same catagory and same date.

Mobile Hearing & Outreach Clinic
Lions club of Colva organized 'Hearing Aid Mobile Outreach for senior citizens, Women & people of Colva. The Inauguration was held with Fr. Polly of Colva Church as a chief Guest. Ln. Adrian Torres DC UNSDG Promotion was also present.

Flood relief programme
FLOOD RELIEF PROGRAMME ON 19th OCTOBER 2025. The Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona organized a flood relief programme at Lions Club house, Xeller Canacona Goa, on 19th October 2025 at 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Distributing begs with 12 essential items like Rice, Dal, Sugar, Wheat flour and other spices to 100 needy people across Canacona Taluka under the flood relief programme by Lions International and Lions Club of Canacona. That is incredible seeing the smiling faces of beneficiaries on the Flood relief programme. Appreciate to our District Governor PMJF Lion Jaimol Naik your collective efforts have benefited hundreds of touching lives and spreading joy. To success this programme 15 Lions members and 10 Leo members spent 10000 and spent 3 hrs.

Mega Dental Camp
MEGA DENTAL CAMP On 18th October 2025 Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona organized mega Dental camp at Lions Club House Xeller Canacona Goa on 18th October 2025 at 9:00 am. To 2:00 pm. Total 50 patients have been checked and advised them to take further treatment, total 100 patient have been benefited of this Mega dental camp. 15 Lions Members and 10 Leo Members have been spent 5 hrs. and spend Rs. 20,000/- to success this programme.

Vocational training
Arsh Vidyala houses poor girl students for their educational support. There are 25 inmates. They were trained on techniques to make Kartik Butti (Akash Lantern etc). It helps them to add to their income during festivals.
