As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Children's eye screening camp
EYE SCREENING CAMP on 03rd OCTOBER 2025 The Lions Club of Canacona in association with District 317 B, organized Eye screening camp on 03 October 2025 at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Bhagatwada at 9:00 a.m., Saraswati Vidya Mandir Khalwadem 11:00 a.m. and Government Primary School Chaudi Canacona at 12:30 p.m. Total 177 students are done Eye screening test and 82 students are detected and advised to do the further investigation. 10 Lions members and Doctors team helped to success this programme. Around 1000 people benefited. Club spends Rs. 10,000/- and spend 6 hrs. To success this programme.

As a part of lions week, groceries woth Rs.8100/- and 24 umbrellas donated to seva sadan. rs. 3000/- donated by ln shrinidhi nargund, rs. 2500/- donated by ln uday bhadkar, rs. 2100/- by ln Aparana parvatikar, rs. 500/- by lpp ln shrikant joshi. 24 umbrellas donated by ln shreya joshi and ln madhu kulkarni. we PST ln uday bhadkar, lpp ln shrikant joshi, ln gopal patil and ln priya kamatagi witnessed the same. i would like to thank all for donating and attending the activity. thanks n regards. Tree plantation
As a part of lions week, today tree plantation activity has been conducted at badami nagar garden...there were more than 25 saplings are planted. saplings are planted by worthy hands of lion uday bhadakar, pmjf lion vinod jain, lpp lion shrikant joshi, president lion prabhu ullagaddimath, secretary lion vishwanath kamatagi, lion priya kamatagi, lion shila ullagadimath and lion gopal patil and other fellow lions members were present.
