As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBALITY OF CLEANING OF CITY - REQUEST TO CMC COMMISSIONER
AS A MATTER OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OUR CLU TOOK LEAD INVOLVING OTHER NGOS' GAVE REQUEST LETTER TO CMC COMMISSIONER REGARDING CLEANING VARIOUS AREAS OF SIRSI CITY. WE ALSO CONVAYED THEM TO SUPPORT THEM IN CLEANING ACTIVITIES OF MUNCIPAL COUNCIL. EXECUTIVE ENGINEER IMMEDETLY TOOK ACTION AND ORDERED STAFF TO CLEAR GARBAGES OF SOME OF OUR REQUESTED AREAS.

Beach Cleaning Drive
The Lions Club of Candolim along with the Village Panchayat of Candolim and in collaboration with the Indian Coast Guards and Fire Services Porvorim and Pilerne carried out a beach cleaning drive along the stretch of Candolim Beach. Plastic bags, plastic wrappers, glass bottles etc were collected.

3RD DIABETIC BLOOD SUGAR BP AND HBA1C CHECKUP CAMP (SIGNATURE ACTIVITY) WAS ORGANIDED AT SHUBADA PHARMA HOSPET ROAD SIRSI. IN THIS SIGNATURE CAMP OF EVERY MONTH 4TH SUNDAY 84 PEOPLE TESTED THIER BLOOD SUGAR AND BP. REQUIRED PATIENTS' HBA1C TEST ALSO DONE IN THIS SPECIAL CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH ONE TOUCH COMPANY. EVENT CO-ORDINATOR LION GANESH HEGDE.

SAVIRADA SASIGALU PART 2- AN INITIATIVE OF PLANTING THOUSANDS OF TREES SAPLINGS BETWEEN ROAD DEVIDERS AT LIONS CIRCLE SIRSI HI-WAY WAS ORGANISED. TOTAL 1250 SAPLINGS OF DURANT PLANT AND GOLDEN SAFIRE WERE PLANTED BETWEEN ROAD DEVIDERS.
