As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Distribution of LKG and UKG Books._
LKG and UKG English Medium books were distributed to students of Government Primary School Prabhat Nagar Honavar on11-08-3025 from 3pm to 4pm. Our Lion member Lion Roshan Shet donated the books worth Rs 10,000/-. SDMC President, Head Master, Teachers and 3 Lion members were present.

Distribution of Lions Quest SFA Books_
Lions Quest SFA Books were distributed in Holy Rosary Convent School Honavar on 11-08-2025 from 10 am to 11.30am as under: Primary Section students 6th standard : 83 books 7th standard : 80 books Secondary Section students 8th standard : 77 books Trained Teachers: 6 sets, each set of 4 books. Procedure for implementing and reporting SFA Classes was explained to Trained teachers and school students by MJF Lion Dr.A V Shanbhag, MJF Lion Jeevottam Nayak and MJF Lion Rajesh Salehittal. 239 students, 6 teachers and 4 Lion members attended the programme.

Lions Relieving Hunger Program
Lions Club of Jamkhandi organized a food distribution program at Jamkhandi Government Hospital under the Lions Relieving Hunger Program on 13.08.2025 at 8:30 am. The organizer of this program is MJF Ln Adv. P. S. Chouraddi. Around 230 peoples were served.

Personality Development Program & Youth Day
ions Club of Jamkhandi organized a personality development program for 10th class students as part of Youth Day celebrations on 12.08.2025 at 2:00 PM in Karnataka Public School Maigur. GLT Member Ln. S. M Kumbar provided leadership training to the youth as resource persons.

General body of the club was held in our clubhouse on 07/08/2025 at 7.30 pm followed by fellowship. International kits received to 5 of the new members were also handed over to them in the meeting.
