As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Today (11.08.2025) at 10.00 am, a campaign program has been organized to create awareness among farmers about the use of Nano Urea and Nano DAP using drone spray at Jamkhandi Maigur Road, Hunnur Cross. The chief guest/inaugurator is Mrs. Shweta Bidikar (Assistant Commissioner, Jamkhandi), the program has been organized in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and IFFCO India Company

Awareness about Medicinal plants, distribution and plantation.
Medicinal Awareness , Plantation/ Distribution. Lions club of Avedem Paroda organized medicinal tree plantation and distribution drive in association with National Ayush Mission, Ayush Cell, Directorate of Health services, Govt of Goa , In the Shree Mahadev Temple complex in Cotombi and in the Shree Santer Temple complex at Assolda, Quepem Goa. Medicinal plants were supplied by the Goa State Medicinal Board, National Ayush Mission. Nodal Officer of Ayus Mission, Dr. Mahesh Verlekar was the chief guest. Deputy Sarpanch, Panch members Cotombhi Panchayat, Mahadev Devasthan committee president, RC Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai, DC Environment Lion Balkrishna Prabhu Dessai, DC for student welfare Lion Sanjay Gauns Dessai, Lions club of Avedem President Lion Shakuntala Raut Dessai, Treasurer Lion Shrinath Kamat and other lion members were present. Medicinal plants were planted in the temple complex by the dignitaries present. President Lion Shakuntala in her inaugural address explained the importance of plants in everyday and reminded everyone of the grandmothers recipes for minor ailments. Dr. Mahesh Verlekar explained the importance of various medicinal plants in treating the common diseases. Medicinal plants, around 500 were distributed to all present. In the evening same program was held in the Santeri temple complex at Assolda in Association with Mahila Shakti Self help Group. Medicinal Plants were planted in the temple premises and distributed to all the ladies of the self help group. Various uses of medicinal plants were explained to the group by the president Lion Shakuntala Raut Dessai.

Free Distribution of sanitary napkins
The lions club of Dharwad had organized the program free distribution of sanitary napkins to the girl students of govt school of malmaddi Dharwad. 47 girl students were benefitted. 20 lion members were attended the program.
