As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

The lions Club of Candolim donated one month's groceries to the family of Mrs Shakuntala Kubal from Ximer in Candolim. Through this initiative we intend to provide nutritious food to underprivileged families in Candolim.

A fowler bed from the Orthopaedic Bank of the Lions Club of Candolim was lent to the family of Mr. V Rivonkar for the use of his wife Shrimati V Rivonkar who is suffering from cancer.
