As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Golden jubilee celebrbration
Golden Jubilee milestone! The celebration was a grand success, thanks to the unwavering dedication and meticulous planning of the team. The impactful service project showcased the club's commitment to serving the community, while the keynote speaker and distinguished guests inspired the audience with their words of wisdom. Charter Member and President Lion Jeevottam Nayak's passion was palpable, and he was ably supported by Charter Member Lion Vasanth Prabhu, Secretary Dr. A V Shanbhagsir, , Treasurer Lion Janardhar, and the entire team, including Lion Kairanna sir, Editor Lion N G Bhat, RC Rajesh, Prof Suresh sir, and all members. I'm honored to have been part of this momentous occasion, releasing the souvenir. Here's to many more years of service and excellence, Lions Club Honnavar! 👏

Along with members of LC Canacona members and leo club members visited senior citizens home at Delem Canacona Goa. LC Canacona members donated rice bags and other grocery items to the senior citizens home. President Of LC Avedem Paroda and president of LC Canacona were present.

Founders day celebrations.
We celebrated Founders day on 13th January 2026. Portrait of the founder Melvin Jones was garlanded and cake was cut. chater secretary Lion Uzwal Gauns Dessai and Charter Member adv.Anand Dessai spoke on the occasion. The region Chairman Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai was also present.

General Body Meeting for the month of Jan 28-01-2026 (2nd)
The second general meeting of the month of January has been held on Wednesday, 28-01-2026 at 7-28 pm at SRA Club Jamkhandi. The topics to be discussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Regarding organizing a program to attach radium to dividers. 2) Regarding submitting an application to the MLA for the reconstruction of Lions Bus Shelter near GLBC Cross. 3) Regarding providing preparatory training to SSLC and PUC-2 students. 4) Regarding organizing BOD on February-1. 5) Regarding supplying spectacles (25) up to Rs. 600 on the request of M.M.Joshi Eye Hospital. 6) Regarding organizing MM Joshi eye screening camp in Konnur village on 8.2.26 7) Regarding submission of accounts for the period 2023-24 and 2024-25 as per the order of DG. 8) Regarding organizing Annadasoha in the month of February.

Free Eye Testing Camp in Nutan Vidyalaya school
This flyer is an advertisement for a free eye testing camp organized by the Lions Club of Jamkhandi in collaboration with the M.M. Joshi Eye Institute, Jamkhandi. M. Joshi Eye Institute, Jamkhandi Objective: To provide free eye check-ups (ಉಚಿತ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಶಿಬಿರ) to the community. This institute is known for conducting free camps to provide eye services in rural areas of Karnataka.
