As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Hunger Relief - donation of Lunch
The Lions Club of Candolim conducted a Hunger Relief programme for the residents of Gomantak Mahila Ashram run by Gomantak Lokseva Trust, Anjuna. Residents of the Ashram were served lunch which was sponsored by MJF Lion Sneha Chorge on the occasion of her birthday.

SINDAGI LIONS CLUB ADDED 10 NEW MEMBERS TO THE CLUB.
IN THIS YEAR OUR REGION IS DOING A VERY GOOD JOB OF ADDING THE NEW MEMBERS. ON THIS OCCASION, AS A REGION CHAIRPERSON, I GAVE AN APPRECIATION CERTIFICATE TO THE SINDAGI LIONS CLUB FOR ADDING 10 NEW MEMBERS.

Mission Vision - Candolim Eye Clinic
Under the "Mission Vision Candolim" 26 patients were screened free of cost at our permanent project, "The Candolim Eye Clinic" in association with the Honorable MLA Mr. Michael Lobo and Village Panchayat of Candolim. Cataracts detected 2, No retinal disorders, Pterygium 0, 2 blood reports and 8 follow ups were diagnosed.
