As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Donation of sports Jerseys to Sports Persons

The Lions Club of Candolim donated Sports Jerseys to needy football players from Candolim. The jerseys were donated to talented football players who were unable to afford the cost of the jerseys. Donation of these jerseys will help these talented boys to pursue their passion.

Celebration of Past District Governor's Month.

The Lions Club of Candolim celebrated Past District Governors' Month to honour the Legacy of Leadership and Service of the Past District Governors. The Past Multiple Chairperson PMJF Lion Agnelo Alcasoas was the Guest of Honour for the Programme. PMCC PMJF Lion Agnelo Alcasoas, Past District Governor PMJF Lion Erle Brito and Past District Governor PMJF Lion Dominic Rodrigues spoke on the this occasion. Seven Past District Governors attended the programme and each one of them was felicitated with a shawl and memento. The D.C for Past District Governors Month PMJF Lion Sandeep Korgaonkar paid his visit to the club. The programme ended with fellowship and lunch.

On 22nd February Lions Club of Sankhali conducted its annual maintenance work of their permanent project of Drinking Water Filter at Kadamba Bus Stand, Sankhali. Filtered water is drank by many visitors at bus stand.
