As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CONDUCTED DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAM UNDER DE OF DRUG AWARENESS.
A AWARENESS WORKSHOP ON DRUGS CONDUCTED FOR GOVT HIGHER PRIMARY SCHOOL KEREKATTE, MURDESHWAR CHILDREN UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF DRUG AWARENESS DC MJF LION DR. VADHIRAJ BHAT. RESOURSE PERSON DR. VADHIRAJ BHAT PROVIDED COMPREHENSIVE INFIRMATION WITH EXAMPLES ON THE ADVRSE EFFECTS OF DRUG ADDITION ON CHILDREN'S HEALTH. DISTRIBUTE HEALTHY BISCUITS TO ALL CHILDRE. 136 CHILDREN BENEFITED.

CLLI - Club Lions Leadership Institute -
A CLLI Session was conducted on the last day of 2025 i.e 31st December 2025. MJF Lion R H Nayak conducted CLLI and explained Role of Project Chairperson During DG Visit. PDG PMJF Lion Dr. Girish Kuchinad Conducted the session on how to conduct Club Meeting. Both the speakers explained the protocols to be followed during events and regular meetings organized by Lions. Overall the CLLI gave a lot of knowledge and rectified our doubts. Both Regional Chairperson Rajesh Salehittal and Zone Chairperson Mangala B Nayak attended the session and shared their views.

Our club donated sports Jersey's (T-shirt & full paint) to the students (45 nos) of adopted Govt. Primary school, Harvalem.

Goa Liberation Day Celebration
Our club on 19 th December celebrated Goa Liberation Day at its adopted Govt. Primary school, Harvalem. The program observed flag hoisting by President Ln Jyostna Pokle and cultural session of dance and fancy dress performed by all students portraying feeling of pride for our nation and State. Sweets were also distributed to students and their parents. 4 Lion members attended the celebration.

Flood Relief Kit Distribution

Breast Cancer Awareness Talk
Breast Cancer Awareness talk was conducted in GB Garments for spreading awareness among the Female workers working in the Garment industry. Our on Senior Lion Member Dr. G G Hegde famous Gynecologist addressed the gathering and explained the symptoms, possible affects, treatment and self examination techniques. Our Club Secretary informed about upcoming Mega Health Checkup camp, where tests to diagnose Cancer going to be conducted FREE of Cost and urged participants to spread the message and take advantage of the facility being arranged by Lions Club of Kumta in association with AJ Hospital Mangalore. Our Lion Member and 1st VP Lion Vishnu Patgar organized the event.

Celebration of 64th Goa liberation day
64th Goa liberation day was celebrated at Govt primary school Varca on 19th December 2025. Indian national flag was unfurled at the hands of chief guest Fr.Jaison Travasso Asst Parish priest of our lady of Gloria church Varca.During the program children displayed their talents through their singing and speeches.DC pmjf lion jack Gonsalves,DC Lion Adrian Torres and Lion Harshad Naik was present.
