As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

ONE MORE MEMBER MJF IN LIONS CLUB SIRSI. TOTAL EIGHT MEMBER MJF CONTRIBUTION FROM JULY 2025 TO DECEMBER 2025

Lions Club of Sirsi Member Lion Prathibha Hegde contributed 1000$ to LCIF, became MJF on 09/12/2025. In total, 8 members of the Lions Club Sirsi contributed to MJF. I am also included in this eight-member.

Conducted a talk on HIV/AIDS awarness on 01st December'2025 at Dr. A V Baliga College of Arts and Science. Our Lion new member Dr. Vishwas Naik addressed the gathering and delivered lecture on HIV and AIDS awareness. Event was done in association with Redcross Society and NSS Wing

Lions Club Sirsi added one new member on 30/12/2025, and the same was reported in the international portal. The Lions Club of Sirsi gave it on the birthday of our International President, MJF Lion A. P. Singh. New Member name: Lion Keshav Hegde

27/12/2025: DG’s ZONE ADVISORY SECOND MEETING Venue: Lions Bala Bhavan, Siddapur Host Club: Lions Club of Siddapur Introduction The Second Meeting of the District Governor’s Zone Advisory Committee for Zone I, Region 12 was successfully held on 27th December 2025. The meeting was hosted by the Lions Club of Siddapur, with active participation from host club members and representatives of all clubs in the Zone. Key Speakers & Presentations PMJF Lion Ravi Hegde Huvinamne : PDG Dist 317B Highlighted Lions membership growth aligned with Mission 1.5, emphasising collective responsibility to grow, retain, and energise clubs for greater community impact. Lion Pretam Masurkar – Member District GMT Spoke on the importance of adding new members to strengthen clubs, expand service activities, and ensure leadership continuity for the future of Lions. PMJF Lion Ashok Hegde – District GLT Coordinator Spoke on leadership development, motivating members to participate in Lions leadership programs. Club Reports Officers from Lions Clubs of Sirsi, Siddapur, Banavasi, Mundgod and Leo Clubs of Sirsi Sahyadri, Sirsi, Shrinketan presented updates on: Service activities conducted Membership growth and retention Contributions to LCIF Future service plans Advisory Notes by ZC MJF Lion Vinay Hegde The Zone Chairperson advised clubs to: Review DG’s Programs and Goals and motivate clubs to set targets. Ensure timely reporting on portals. Focus on membership growth and LCIF contributions. Conduct CLLI programs at the club level. Ensure timely payment of International and District dues. Attendance & Conclusion The meeting was attended by club office bearers and host club members, ensuring fruitful discussions and idea sharing. During this meeting Lions Club of Sirsi Calendar for 2026 realeased by the PDG PMJF Lion Ravi Hegde Huvinamne. The session concluded with a vote of thanks to the Lions Club of Siddapur for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements.
