As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

LIONS CLUB OF SIDDAPUR---Inter-District Twinning Programme
On 13/12/2025, an Inter-District Twinning Programme was conducted between the Lions Club of Siddapur, District 317-B and the Lions Club of Sagar, District 317-C. The programme was organised by the Lions Club of Siddapur at Lions Balabhavana, Siddapur. The twinning strengthened friendship, fellowship, and cooperation between the two clubs, promoting unity and the spirit of service across districts.

LIONS CLUB OF SIDDAPUR CLLI Session
On 20/12/2025, under CLLI (Club Lions Leadership Institute), PDG PMJF Lion Ravi Hegde spoke on “Are You Proud as a Lion?”, inspiring members to reflect on the pride, values, and responsibilities of being a Lion. In the same session, Dist GLT Co-Ordinator, PMJF Lion Ashok addressed the topic “Your Role as a Lion”, emphasizing active participation, leadership, and meaningful service to strengthen clubs and communities.

LIONS CLUB SIRSI Fundraising Programme for the Expansion of Sirsi Lions School
On 24/12/2025, the Lions Club of Sirsi organised a fund-raising programme for the expansion of Sirsi Lions School, particularly for the proposed Ladies’ Hostel project. The programme was conducted under the banner “Gaan Sudhe”, a devotional song concert. The concert featured the renowned Kannada devotional singer Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak and the talented young artist Smt. Surekha Hegde. The programme was truly wonderful and was attended by the general public in large numbers, who highly appreciated the efforts of the Lions Club of Sirsi. Through this event, the club successfully collected around ₹25 lakhs, which will be utilized for the expansion project of Sirsi Lions School. The Lions Club of Sirsi continues to be a frontrunner in educational service activities through its prestigious permanent project, Sirsi Lions School. As Zone Chairperson (ZC), I attended and thoroughly enjoyed the event, and I congratulate the club for its dedicated service towards education and community development.

LIONS CLUB SIRSI--Sirsi Lions School Annual Day & Youth Festival
On 22/12/2025 and 23/12/2025, the Lions Club of Sirsi sponsored the Lions School Annual Day, celebrated as a School Youth Festival. The two-day programme was marked by enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and the general public. As Zone Chairperson (ZC), I attended both days of the programme as a guest. MJF Lion S. J. Kairana, the Chief Guest, delivered an inspiring and motivational address to the children and parents, encouraging values, discipline, and excellence. The festival witnessed mind-blowing cultural performances by Sirsi Lions School students, showcasing their talent and confidence. The event truly reflected the spirit of Sirsi Lions School as a vibrant festival of learning, culture, and community participation.

LIONS CLUB SIRSI ---Attendance at Sirsi Lions School Talent Day – Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony
On 20/12/2025, as Zone Chairperson (ZC), I attended the Talent Day (Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony) of Lions School, Sirsi, sponsored by the Lions Club of Sirsi and conducted by the Sirsi Lions Education Society. Prizes were distributed to students for their achievements in annual sports, cultural, and academic activities. The programme encouraged students to excel in all-round development, and the efforts of the Lions Club of Sirsi in promoting quality education were highly commendable

LIONS CLUB OF SIRSI--Distribution of Cloth Bags under the Environment Cause – Plastic Free Green City
On 18/12/2025, the Lions Club of Sirsi distributed 1,000 cloth bags to the students of Lions School, Sirsi, to create awareness about environmental protection and reduce pollution caused by plastic covers, under the “Environment Cause” and Plastic Free Green City initiative. The cloth bags, worth ₹10,000/-, were generously sponsored by Lion Pradeep Ellankar, DC for Jatra and Festivals. The programme emphasised the importance of adopting eco-friendly alternatives in daily life. As Zone Chairperson (ZC), I attended the programme and appreciated the club and the sponsor for their meaningful contribution towards environmental conservation and student awareness.

LIONS CLUB OF SIRSI –MF Investment Awareness Programme for PU Commerce Students
The Lions Club of Sirsi successfully conducted a Mutual Fund Investment Awareness Programme for Lions PU Commerce students, in association with HDFC Mutual Fund. The objective of the programme was to create financial awareness among students and introduce them to the importance of disciplined investment. Mr. Sanjeev Tuppad, Manager, HDFC Mutual Fund, delivered an informative lecture highlighting the basics of mutual funds, the importance of early investment, risk management, and long-term financial planning. The session was interactive and well-received by the students. As Zone Chairperson (ZC), I attended the programme and appreciated the Lions Club for organising such a meaningful and educational activity that empowers young minds with essential financial knowledge.
